Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the new Grand Bows layering stamp set. I stamped the grand bows with 2 shades of pink and 2 shades of turqouise on white cardstock and fussy cut the grand bows out. I then used the lighter shade of each stamp pad and colored 4 strips of paper I cut out for the ribbon.
I die cut 2 squares out of another sheet of white cardstock to represent the presents, and then blended colors beneath the cut out areas. To add a little more design to the presents, I blended some white circles on top with a stencil.
The whole card is carefully put together with foam tape to add a little dimension to the bows. You can see from the side view, that the bows are slightly elevated.
Lastly, I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter on top of the bows (although hard to see in the pictures), and added a sentiment to the top left corner from the Holiday Lyrics stamp set. I’ve been addicted to adding a few Glass Slipper sequins, to all my cards lately to add little bit of sparkle as a final touch.
This completes my Christmas card using the Grand Bows. These beautiful bows go on sale tomorrow! And be sure to check out all of my colleagues in their wonderful designs for Day One of The Ton Release.
