The Ton 2016 Anniversary Release – Day 3

2016-01-10 15.26.18-2

It’s Day 3! Today, the Ton is showcasing the Tribal Chic Borders, Like a Boss, Geometric Lattice Coverplate Die and Background Stamp, and Fresh Cut Orchids. A lot right? We’ve been working very hard!

This first card was really fun and colorful. The tribal chic border comes in multiple stamps for each of those patterns so you can go wild with your stamping! I really wanted to createg this turqouise and pink combo, so I took the time to stamp each of those lines one at a time. And I loved the results!

Now I can’t just leave it without any sentiments, so I used the new fabulous word die (from Day 1), and created a die cut in lay in the stamped panel. To help it stand out a little bit, I used the same pink and added a soft blend to the bottom of the word die.

Next, we have another floral layering set, but this time with orchids! Purple is my favorite color so I decided to create purple orchids with the Amethyst Collection Inks.

I used the softest purple, Soft Amethyst, for the background which I blended gently from the bottom up. I sprinkled some white watercolor on the panel, and added a final touch with some Glass Slipper sequins.

Don’t forget to stop by tomorrow for Day 4 of the release! It’s not over yet!
